Why don’t all plugins show up in the results?
Site Tech Inspector can only detect what the website makes publicly visible when a page loads. A WordPress plugin only appears in results if it loads a CSS or JavaScript file on the front end.
Plugins that run entirely in the background — such as backup tools, database managers, or certain security plugins — leave no public trace and cannot be detected in this way.
On a typical WordPress site, you can expect to see around 60–70% of active plugins.
