How to transfer the app to another computer?

Transferring to Another Computer:

– Simply copy the `SiteLoadTester.dmg file to the other Mac (via USB, AirDrop, network share, etc.)

• Install it as you would any other app: double-click the DMG file, then drag SiteLoadTester.app to your Applications folder.
• The app is self-contained and includes everything needed
• Each computer will have separate user data (history, presets, baselines, etc.)
• Works on any Mac running macOS 13.0+ with Apple Silicon

FIRST TIME SETUP (Required): #

macOS will show a security warning because this app is not from the App Store.

To open the app:

1. Right-click (or Control+click) on SiteLoadTester.app
2. Select “Open” from the menu
3. Click “Open” in the security dialog
4. The app will launch and be added to your security exceptions

After the first time, you can double-click the app normally.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD: #

If the above doesn’t work:

1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences)
2. Go to “Privacy & Security”
3. Scroll down to “Security” section
4. You should see a message about SiteLoadTester being blocked
5. Click “Open Anyway”
6. Confirm by clicking “Open”

TROUBLESHOOTING: #

If you see “App is damaged” error:

Open Terminal and run:
cd /Applications
xattr -cr SiteLoadTester.app

Then try opening the app again using the steps above.
