WooCommerce Product Quick Edit is a Chrome extension that allows you to edit WooCommerce product data directly from your store’s front‑end. The extension is designed to operate using only the minimum data required to provide this functionality. This policy explains what data is processed, how it is stored, and how it is used.
Data We Process
1. Data You Explicitly Provide
- Store URL(s)
- WooCommerce REST API consumer key and consumer secret
2. Data Created During Use
- Extension settings (e.g., session timeout preferences)
- Local product cache to improve performance
- Optional audit log entries of edits
- Optional diagnostic/error entries used for troubleshooting
3. Data Accessed Only When Needed
- Current tab URL (used to match the page to a configured store)
- WooCommerce product data and store settings required to display and submit edits
How Data Is Stored
- All extension data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage.
- API keys are encrypted before being saved locally.
- No extension data is intentionally transmitted to third‑party analytics, advertising platforms, or external services unrelated to core functionality.
How Data Is Used

- The extension requires HTTPS store URLs for API operations.
- Sensitive credential values are not logged in diagnostic or audit entries.
