# Parameter Guidelines

## Concurrent Connections

Number of simultaneous HTTP connections. Each connection continuously sends requests during the test duration. With fast servers, each connection can send many requests per second.

**Recommendation:** Start with 10-20 for most tests

## Duration

How long the test runs. Longer tests provide more accurate averages and better stress testing, but consume more resources.

**Recommendation:** 30-60 seconds for quick tests, 5+ minutes for comprehensive stress testing

Pipelined Requests

Requests sent per connection before waiting for responses. Simulates real browser behavior where multiple resources are requested over one connection.

**Recommendation:** 1-2 for basic tests, 3-5 for realistic browser simulation
